Conservative Republican Robert Ridley is a father, businessman and lifelong resident of North Georgia. He understands what makes Cherokee County special, and for those who call it home, community comes before commotion. With the help of a few friends, he built his house just outside of Ballground in 1996. Robert has operated KB’s Grill and Pub in Kennesaw since 1991 and also owns North Georgia Deer Processing with his son Tyler. He and his wife Debbie were blessed with 3 children, all of whom graduated from the Cherokee County public schools.
Robert is a community leader and a founding member of the City of Kennesaw's Alcohol Control Board. His family's passion for competitive motorsports led him to serve as President of the Metro-Atlanta Quarter Midget Association. Robert attends church with his family at Christ Episcopal Church, and when he isn’t managing his small businesses, he enjoys restoring classic cars, turkey and deer hunting and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Having signed both the front and back of paychecks, Robert understands the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and families alike. As a successful small business owner, Robert knows that minimizing tax burdens creates opportunity for everyone. As a father, he knows that families know best how to best spend their hard-earned dollars, not the government. That’s why as state representative Robert will work to keep more money in the pockets of taxpayers and the local job creators who employ them.

I deeply believe that the freedom to keep and beat arms stands as one of Americas most important liberties, one that demands the same unyielding defense as every other constitutional guarantee bestowed upon U.S. citizens. Once we permit even a single right to be stripped away by law, the foundation of all our freedoms begins to crumble. I will fight relentlessly to uphold the Second Amendment, preserving the core entitlement of every person to arm themselves.
I am dedicated to safeguarding our youth across every dimension of their well-being while championing parental authority. I support preserving fairness in women's athletics and private facilities by barring biological males from women's competitions or shared spaces. I staunchly reject the prescription of puberty blockers or gender-reassignment surgeries for those under 18. Eradicating sex trafficking demands urgent action, and I'll champion tougher regulations to defend our most at-risk populations. Furthermore, I hold unyieldingly to the principle that all life is sacred.

In my view, thriving schools flourish when unburdened by excessive state meddling. My priorities center on broadening school choice initiatives, empowering parents to select high-caliber, attainable options tailored to their families' needs. Above all, I champion parental sovereignty in schooling: families must hold the reins on their kids' learning paths, shielded from undue bureaucratic intrusion.
True conservative leadership means addressing the needs of the community while keeping money in the pockets of taxpayers. That’s why Robert will work with GDOT to alleviate traffic and improve infrastructure with state funds to protect Georgia's families from tax increases.
